Upon ordering via our webshop, a buyer - seller contract is initiated once your order has been confirmed.
Payment can be completed with credit card / debit card: Dankort / Visa / Matercard and via Paypal. All prices are given in DKK including taxes for deliveries withinthe 8 specified EU countries. Deliveries outside the EU, further import taxes and extra bills may incurr, which House of Dhurries does not cover. Prices can also be shown in EUR and USD. The prices are day-prices and are accountable from the time of the order. All delivered products remain House of Dhurries property, until they are fully paid for.
Payment by card is a secure payment method. Seller will not be informed of your account details. The account details are sent encrypted directly to your bank. Upon unauthorized debiting, you will be covered by the bank's insurance. The insurance is also in play, if the seller (company) goes bankrupt. Suspected unauthorized debiting will be haulted by your bank. It is therefore of utmost importance that you follow the payment instructions carefully and that you submit the correct payment details upon payment.
All prices are inkl. taxes and delivery costs ** and include taxes withing EU. The prices do not include extra import taxes incurring for purchases made outside the EU. We reserve the right to price changes in connection with exchange rates or changes in the world market for carpets.

Tax free for companies within EU
Registered companies with a valid VAT number (except Denmark) can benefit from shopping excluding Danish VAT. The prices in the webshop are shown including Danish VAT, which will be deducted at the checkout, when you have registered on our webshop and use your log in.
We only deliver to the registered company address.

House of Dhurries ships world wide - contact us for more details. (the delivery price depends on weight and destination)
House of Dhurries aims to send the order on the first working day after the order has been received. All orders are sent within two working days. House of Dhurries will send the items off in thick plastic and in secure packaging, exactly like all other orders.
House of Dhurries cannot be held liable for how the product is delivered on the agreed address caused by external factors that we cannot influence.
Deliveries by Post Nord.¬†The carpets weigh from 6 kilograms and up.
House of Dhurries offers free delivery to¬†Denmark*, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Holland, Luxemburg, Belgium & Austria.
* Shipments within Denmark are delivered to your nearest pickup point. At the check out, enter your postcode and select the most convenient pick up point. At checkout you can also enable home delivery to your door by paying a charge of 150 DKK.
Sweden, Finland, Germany, Holland, Luxemburg, Belgium & Austria are delivered to specified delivery address (home or work place).¬†
Norway induces additional delivery costs, which House of Dhurries does not cover.¬†

Customers can expect to receive their orders within¬†1 -2 working days in Denmark. (Fast land and bridge connected islands)
Delivery to Greenland and the Faroe Islands is not free of charge. Greenland costs: 1.528 Kr. Faroe Islands costs 566 kr.
Faroe islands can expect a delivery time of 5 - 8 days.¬†
Greenland can expect a delivery time of 8 -10 days.¬†
Non-bridged islands: 2-3 days
Other EU and non-EU deliveries:¬†
For shipping to : Switzerland, France, Italy, Great Brittain, Spain,¬†Portugal,¬†Ireland,¬†Poland,¬†Czek Republic & Slovarkia, a flat rate delivery cost of¬†150 DKK / ‚ā¨ 20 / $ 22 applies. This shipping cost will be added at the check out.
Delivery time is 3 - 5 days.
Rest of world:¬†
Delivery can be aranged to most destinations. The delivery costs can be quoted (no obligation) upon request - the customer will bear this delivery cost, added to their invoice. Orders from the following countries, should write to "email@example.com" for a delivery price quote. The prices depend on the weight of the goods and the destination.

Delivery to destinations outside of the EU, further import taxes and bills may incurr, which House of Dhurries does not cover.
Damage due to transportation: Visible damage to the goods must be submitted to Postnord directly upon delivery. Hidden damage must be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as they are apparent.
Deliveries by Post Nord. We do not deliver to PO box / postbox addresses.
Should the delivery be faulty, fault or damage regarding the goods, wrong goods or wrong number of goods, the discretion must be reported to email@example.com or via our support form. The fault must be reported as quickly as possible - within 14 days of delivery.
House of Dhurries sends complimentary cleaning product, which is well suited for cleaning our carpets. (free gift with any purchase of Dhurrie carpet)
"Natural & Clean" spot-remover spray in 300 ml, including 3 disposable wipes. Enjoy!
With every Chindi carpet purchase, a complimentary pair of yarn scissors will be sent to the delivery address. The yarn scissors are excellent for maintaining the chindi carpet, as some ends of the strips may protrude the surface, which is normal for this textiles type.
Returns & Refunds
All House of Dhurries products are hand made by artisans locally in India. Each carpet and cushion textile is unique and small differences between the peices are inevitable. All product photos are taken without filter and in natural light, where possible. House of Dhurries cannot be held resposible for the customer's screen, or the light and colour settings, which may give a different impression than the textiles in real life.¬†
All return shipment costs are born by the customer. House of Dhurries does not offer a return service. All returned good must be re-packaged in original packaging, and in original state, meaning unused.
House of Dhurries offers 14 days money back from the day you receive the goods. In cases of faulty goods returns and refunds, the customer has responcibility for the good being returned to House of Dhurries in original packaging and in original condition - meaning un-used.
To return an item, the customer must first write to House of Dhurries and inform about the refund / return. The customer must wait for a written responce and consent for the return of the goods from House of Dhurries. In other words, the return / refund must be agreed between House of Dhurries and the customer.
The shipping & postage cost of a return is born by the customer. House of Dhurries does not offer a return service.
When the good(s) has been received and approved - as being in original (unused) condition, the payment will be returned.
All return shipments (besides faulty goods) are born by the customer. House of Dhurries does not offer return services.
Use the contact form on the website for refunds and returns. Please attach your order refernce number / receipt and attach a photo if it's a faulty goods return. Including a photo accelerates the process. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Returns / change of mind / money back:¬†
Goods can only be returned upon a mutual written agreement. Please use the contact form.
Faulty goods refunds:
In situtations where goods have been received in a damaged state or defect, House of Dhurries will, according to the customer's wish, refund the full payment amount or exchange for another (same price range) carpet.
Contact House of Dhurries via our contact form or by emailing email@example.com. In the email, you must describe why the good is faulty, attach photos and your original receipt. When the documentation has been sent, the customer will receive a confirmation email. Later, the cusotmer will get feedback on the claim / instructions how to proceed.
According to the new internet trade laws, it is no longer possible to deny delivery or to send the good back without written consent from House of Dhurries. This is applicable for all cases of returns, faulty goods as well as refunds.
Cancelling an order:
It is not possible to cancel an order. Customers are welcome to contact House of Dhurries and arrange to send the goods back to House of Dhurries. The delivery costs will be the customer's expense. Cancelling an order will be treated like a "return / change of mind" and the same rules apply as described above.
Concerning carpets that are paid for but not delivered, or are returned to our head quarters due to the customer not being available for receiving the delivery - after several attempts, a dialogue regarding alternative delivery will be initiated. In cases of bespoke carpets, full price will be charged for the carpet whether delivered or not.
Faulty returns must be reported within a reasonable time, from receiving the goods.
When a returned item is received and approved, the payment will be made to the same account / card that was used to make the initial payment.
If House of Dhurries receives returned goods that are not approved, the good will be sent back to the customer, at the customer's expense.
DROP SHIP AGREEMENTS WITH EXTERNAL WEBSHOPS
House of Dhurries also sells via external webshops¬†(coolnordic, Hunter & Co, No Ordinary, emmalea og RekoRum). The order is placed on the website of choice and then the order is forwarded to¬†firstname.lastname@example.org - House of Dhurries then delivers the items directly to the customer.¬†
House of Dhurries is given the customers name, delivery address, mobile phone number and email for delivery purposes.¬†
House of Dhurries receives the order and sends to our warehouse, where the order is administered and packages in thick plastic or cardboard as required for a safe delivery. In DK, the order is delivered to a pickup point- unless otherwise agreed.
When the package is ready, the customer will be contacted directly by postnord.
Refund due to faulty product:
If the item is faulty or a wrong item has been dispatched, please let House of Dhurries and the webshop know asap. Attach photos of the faulty item and discribe shortly in words with receipt attached send to email@example.com or use the contact form.¬†
When the item has been acknowledged as faulty (all stakeholders agree that the fault is House of Dhurries) then the customer will receive a return label for postage, paid by House of Dhurries.¬†
The item can be exchanged for another item of similar price or the customer can get money back (this will be agreed between the external webshop and the customer, then House of Dhurries will be notified by the webshop)¬†
If change of mind return (the item received new and as described, but the customer wishes to return the item) the customer must contact the webshop they bought from and write to firstname.lastname@example.org, informing that the item is being returned. Attach the order receipt. House of Dhurries will relay the delivery address when relevant. The delivery cost for change of mind is paid by the customer only.¬†
Change of mind customers must return the item in original packaging and unused.¬†
When the items have been received and accepted as unused, House of Dhurries will inform the webshop. The customer and the webshop will then reach an agreement regrading exchange or refund the payment.¬†
House of Dhurries and the webshop will tend to the reinbursement separetly.¬†
Internet, newsletters and emailing
With customer consent, House of Dhurries will send information about our exciting products, maintenance tips and special offers.¬†
Our newsletter will be published 2 - 4 times a year.
Customers can sign up to our newsletter via our homepage or by emailing email@example.com
Customers can cancel subscripton to our newsletters at any time, by unsubscribing- using the link in the newsletter.
Your personal details are given at your own risk and of your own free will. Personal information is used to complete the transaction for the good or service, that the personal details pertain to. House of Dhurries will not forward, sell or publish personal information to a third party. In agreeance with privacy laws, the customer has the right to access their profile/ the information registered in our system.
